• Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
• Do I have to be a member of PayPal?
No. When you get to the checkout page click the link to the left that says "Don't have a PayPal account?". From there you can order without signing up for PayPal.
• Does Candles That Care ship orders outside of the U.S.?
Sorry, we currently do not ship outside of the continental U.S.
• What type of wax is used in your candles?
We use a pure soy container wax with a natural soy-based additive that reduces frosting and allows the wax to hold additional fragrance. Soy wax is free of toxins, carcinogens and harmful vapors. Candles burn clean with low soot and increased burn times.
• Are your candles "all natural?"
We use natural soy wax and pure cotton wicks. However, all fragrance oils and dye currently on the market are synthetic. No scented, colored candles can be considered "all natural."
• How much do you donate to charity?
We donate 10 percent of all sales from our standard product line to various national charities. The donation doubles to 20 percent for specific organizations conducting fundraisers with us.
• Why don't you name specific charities on your candles?
For legal reasons, we can't put a charity's name on our candles unless we have permission and endorsement from them. That's why the candles list a cause, rather than a specific charity.
• So where is my money going?
If you'd like to request a list of the charities we currently support, please e-mail kelly@candlesthatcare.org.
• How can my charity receive proceeds from CandlesThatCare.org?
Please contact our marketing director at dustin@candlesthatcare.org for details. Unfortunately we can't accept all requests, but we'd be more than happy to try to work with your organization.
• How quickly will I receive my candles?
Each candle is handmade to order. We typically ship candles out within three business days of receiving your order. Larger orders may require additional time. If we anticipate a delay in production time for any reason, we will notify you by e-mail. We ship through the U.S. Postal Service. Delivery time will vary based on your location.
• What is your return policy?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. We accept returns of unused candles. To return an item, please follow these steps:
1. Contact us within 10 days of receipt. We will provide you the return shipping address.
2. Repack items securely; just like you received them.
3. Include a copy of the original invoice and a note stating your reason for the return.
4. Ship returns to us. (Delivery confirmation and insurance recommended.)
Return shipping charges will be credited in cases of our error (damaged product, wrong product sent, etc.). The returned merchandise and return shipping charges will be credited to your credit card or equal value towards immediate exchange will be given (customer's choice).
In case of customer error (ordered wrong color or scent, etc.) the customer will be responsible for return shipping. Equal value toward immediate exchange will be offered. |
